Biototal is looking for a Production Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for our refining operations while contributing to a more resource-efficient society. You will lead production at several locations in Sweden and be responsible for creating structure, quality, and profitable growth in a business where sustainability is at the core. Your responsibilities
As a Production Manager, you have overall responsibility for the company's production operations in refining, both strategically and operationally.
You will, among other things:
- Develop and implement a long-term production strategy in line with the business plan and growth targets
- Create a common and scalable production concept for several production sites
- Lead, plan, and follow up production at both larger and smaller sites
- Be driving in the establishment and startup of new production sites
- Ensure compliance with environmental permits, quality requirements, and occupational safety regulations
- Follow up key figures related to volume, efficiency, quality, and cost
- Lead and develop subordinate managers and key roles within production
The role involves close collaboration with functions such as logistics, environment, product, sales, and participation in strategic forums.
Worth knowing
The location is primarily Linköping, with some flexibility for the right candidate. You will be responsible for production at several geographically dispersed sites, which means travel, averaging one to two overnight stays per month, occasionally more during startups. The position is a permanent employment, and a company car is included.
(Selection begins during week 12).
Our expectations
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in leadership roles within production or industrial operations, who is used to leading through other managers. You have a technical, industrial, or scientific education, or equivalent experience. You have a good understanding of occupational safety, quality, and cost tracking, as well as experience in structured improvement work. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar production principles is advantageous, as is experience from process industry, environmental, or permit-required operations.
As a person, you are driven, confident in your leadership, and have the ability to combine strategic thinking with operational presence. You are structured, communicative, and have an easy time collaborating in cross-functional contexts. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and have good knowledge of English.
